National Forest Foundation

The National Forest Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Congress in 1992 as the official partner of the U.S. Forest Service. It promotes the care and enjoyment of 193 million acres of national forests through community-based programs.

Inspired by the concept of a "home for trees," the visual identity centers around a linear symbol formed by the letters N and F, evoking both the outline of trees and the silhouette of a house. The color palette draws from the changing hues of the forest throughout the four seasons. The visual system is both cohesive and flexible, easily adaptable across digital and print media. It brings a sense of vibrancy and youthfulness while maintaining the institution’s professionalism.
